The STORYLAB KIU at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts explores current developments in the presentation forms and narrative modes of digital media based on projects by students of the Design Department. Possible alternative narratives based on the opportunities and challenges of current technologies are explored. The decisive factor here is not the acquisition of competence in technological terms, but the acquisition of competence in exploring the changing dramaturgical possibilities. All formats pursue the goal of testing and capturing different approaches to storytelling beyond the familiar technical and visual effects.
