Director of the public cultural sector in Dortmund

Dr. phil. Stefan Mühlhofer studied modern history, ancient history and classical archaeology at the University of Bamberg, Würzburg and Erlangen. He is the managing director of the public cultural sector in Dortmund and the director of Dortmund's municipal archive. Since 2013, he is the co-publisher of the “Beiträge zur Geschichte Dortmund's und der Grafschaft Mark” (Contributions on Dortmund's history and the earldom Mark). He is chairperson of the committee “NS-Gedenkstätten und Erinnerungsorte NRW e.V.” (NS-Memorials NRW)
