Speaker: Prof. Mischa Kuball

Mischa Kuball has been working in the public and institutional space since 1977. Using the medium of light, in installations and photographs, he explores architectural spaces and their social and political discourses. His politically motivated, participatory projects are designed to facilitate communication between participants, artist, work, and urban space. Kuball is a professor at the Academy of Media Arts, associate professor of media art at the Hochschule für Gestaltung/ZKM, and a member of the Akademie der Wissenschaften und Künste NRW. In 2016 he was awarded the German Light Art Prize.
